- 1 lb frozen meatballs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Brown the frozen meatballs in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove meatballs and set aside.
- Add butter to the skillet and sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Return the browned meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through and the sauce is rich and creamy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of brandy or sherry to the sauce.
