A quick and easy crock pot recipe for creamy Cajun chicken pasta, perfect for a weeknight meal.

- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1.25 oz) Cajun seasoning
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz pasta, cooked
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the chicken.
- Pour in cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the crock pot and shred it with two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the crock pot.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked pasta.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables like bell peppers or onions.
