- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker, or remove chicken and shred, then return to the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

- This recipe can be served over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
- For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine to the sauce mixture.
