Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker, or remove chicken and shred, then return to the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
