Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked wild rice
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked wild rice, shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, chopped onion, chopped celery, and cheddar cheese.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
