- 2 cups cooked wild rice
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup butter crackers, crushed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked wild rice, shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, chopped onion, chopped celery, and cheddar cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

- For a richer flavor, you can use leftover roasted chicken.
